CITY CLERK The City of Dow City is seeking qualified applicants for this part-time position. Job Description: The 30 hour per week position is selected by the City Council by a majority vote. The position is responsible for ensuring the city utilities billing is accomplished and responsible for ensuring complaints and questions are adequately answered or directed to the proper channels. The Clerk is responsible for completing payroll, accounts payable ·and receivable, operating the city office, and must keep abreast of changing laws and regulations. This position is responsible for monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports for the City, and as required by the State and Federal government. The ability to work with the public is a must for this position. Job Salary & Benefits: Wage negotiable depending upon qualifications and certification; 7 paid holidays; IPERS retirement plan.
