Hollie Blum joins Crawford County Extension Office as new youth coordinator

The Crawford County Extension office has a new youth coordinator.
Hollie Blum, a native of Manning, began working as county youth coordinator on Feb. 25, according to a news release.
Blum
Blum will be responsible for responding delivery of information and supporting programs in Crawford County delivered by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. Her focus will be to support the volunteer leaders and youth involved in the Crawford County 4-H Program.
Blum was a nine-year member of the Manning Win & Grin 4-H Club. She is a 2024 graduate of IKM-Manning High School.
“What excites me most about this opportunity is the chance to combine my passion for agriculture with youth development,” Blum said in the news release. “Growing up actively involved in 4-H, FFA, and County Council, I’ve seen firsthand the impact that positive youth programs can have.”
The public is welcome to stop by the Crawford County Extension Office at 35 S. Main St. in Denison to welcome Blum and offer any suggestions they have for new youth programs.
