
IKM-Manning rallied for a 3-1 nonconference baseball victory over South Central Calhoun on Thursday night at Lytton.
IKM-Manning, which had lost four of five going in, improved to 6-13 overall with the triumph.
SCC scored the game’s initial run and its only run in the bottom of the third inning. The Wolves, though, then scored single runs in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings for the win.
Alex Lingle paced IKM-Manning at the plate by going 3-for-3 with one run scored.
Amos Rasmussen was 2-for-3 with one run.
Nolan Ramsey went 1-for-3 with a double and one run. Grant Stracke also was 1-for-3 with one run. Will Jorgensen finished 1-for-3 with a triple and one RBI as well.
Lingle threw all seven innings for the win, as he gave up the one run on only five hits, struck out three and walked two.
