The Emmy-nominated actor was found dead of an apparent drowning at his Los Angeles home Saturday, according to the Los Angeles Times and celebrity website TMZ.
Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer, the stars of “Friends,” say in a joint statement they are mourning the “unfathomable” death of Matthew Perry.
Dr. Salvador Plasencia was the first to be sentenced of five defendants who pleaded guilty in connection with Perry's 2023 death at age 54.
The sentence includes three years of supervised release for Mark Chavez, 55, who voluntarily gave up his medical license.
Perry's role as Chandler Bing on NBC's "Friends" in the 1990s and 2000s made him one of the biggest television stars of the era.
