An SUV got onto the Interstate 74 bridge pedestrian path early Sunday on the Bettendorf side, Moline police said. It traveled nearly the whole span before striking three pedestrians near the Moline pathway entrance.

Three people were hit early Sunday morning when an SUV drove onto the Interstate 74 bridge pedestrian path. The pedestrians appear to have been struck near a decorative lighting fixture just past the path’s entrance in Moline.
