Democrat Kevin Randle, incumbent Republicans John Maxwell and Jean Dickson and Republican Luana Stoltenberg will vie for the three seats on the Scott County Board of Supervisors in the November General Election. 

Jennifer McAndrew Lane will not be moving on to the general election. Lane received a total of 3,682 votes, according to the county's unofficial results. 

Former nonprofit director and political organizer Adam Peters ousted incumbent Democrat Ken Croken for a central Davenport statehouse seat Tuesday night. 

It was a campaign of experience versus youth, with Croken highlighting bills pushed for in his four years as a lawmaker in Des Moines, and with Peters promoting his vision for energizing the party and bringing disinterested Democrats back into the fold.

U.S. Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks will again face Democrat Christina Bohannan in November after fending off primary challenges Tuesday night. 

Multiple outlets, including ABC, CNN and the Associated Press have reported Miller-Meeks and Bohannan being the projected winners of the race.

State Rep. Mark Cisneros fended off challenger Matt Conard for the Republican nomination for Iowa House District 96 Tuesday night, according to unofficial results.

Political newcomer Nick Salazar beat Michelle Servadio Elias for the Democratic nomination. Servadio Elias had won the Democratic nomination in 2022, but lost to Cisneros in the general election.

Democrat Andrew Fitzgerald secured his party’s nomination Tuesday for Iowa House District 98 and will advance to the general election in a district that includes western Davenport, Buffalo and surrounding rural areas.

Fitzgerald led with 750 of votes counted to opponent Ruth Ann Gallagher’s 666, according to the Scott County unofficial election results.
