The Warriors are looking to stay alive in the Western Confrernce semifinals and below are our best Steph Curry props for Game 5 on Wednesday night.
Steph Curry props: Lakers vs. Warriors best bets for Game 5 on Wednesday
The Warriors are looking for a historic comeback down 3-1, just as they pulled off in the 2016 Western Conference finals.
If thats going to happen, the best shooter in the history of basketball will have something to do with it.
Steph Curry prop bets: 5+ three-point FG made (-155 or better)
Curry is regarded as the greatest shooter of all time and is coming off of a game in which he dished out 14 assists only to lose, so he’ll likely be on a quick trigger in Game Five.
The 35-year-old guard also shoots 11.9 threes per game in elimination games, more than he has in every postseason bar one—volume is key for player props, so that is a great sign.
He has also made at least five threes in four of his last five elimination games and proved that he won’t go down without a fight when he scored 50 points in a Game Seven against the Sacramento Kings.
Steph Curry props: Top points scorer in the game (-130 or better)
The Warriors have looked for answers everywhere, but the only constant is Curry.
They have played three different starting lineups in the four games and even drew up an end-of-game play for Klay Thompson their last time out.
Thompson is averaging only 19.8 points on 41.2% shooting, Jordan Poole hasn’t scored double-digits since Game One and only played 10 minutes last game, and Andrew Wiggins hasn’t gone above 17 points in the series.
The greatest threats are LeBron James and Anthony Davis, but they don’t have to be the hero of their team like Curry does for his.
Lakers vs. Warriors same-game parlay: Include Anthony Davis props (+611 or better)
- Steph Curry 30+ points
- Anthony Davis 2+ steals
- Jarred Vanderbilt under 4.5 rebounds
Curry is the lifeblood of the Warriors and is one loss away from the potential breakup of the dynasty he led for a decade.
We expect him to make a lot of threes which leads to him also scoring a lot of points, especially in a game of this magnitude.
Davis recorded three steals in each of the last two games and has snagged at least two in half of his playoff games thus far.
The Warriors have been more than generous to the Lakers with their turnovers and have also been petrified of Davis on the interior.
The Lakers know that their path to victory has been on the defensive end, and Davis will understand that assignment heading into a closeout game on the road.
Vanderbilt is an extremely capable rebounder but has not had much of a role in this series. Even when he does play more, he spends lots of his time chasing Curry and Thompson on the perimeter away from where rebounds are being collected.
