Before UNI's 28-6 loss to Iowa State, there was a moment of silence in Hilton Coliseum honoring Parker Sutherland.Â
For the first time since 2004, Iowa State wrestling has beaten Iowa and Northern in the same season.Â
Just 30 hours after a 74-56 win against No. 7 Kansas, the Cyclones will tip against No. 3 Houston.
It was a good long weekend for Iowa State, concluding with a 70-67 win against No. 2 Houston.Â
Nate Heise’s go-ahead three-pointer to help No. 6 Iowa State beat No. 2 Houston was monumental. But, it might not even be the best play a Heise made Tuesday.
