Bills, Chiefs, Chargers top three odds-on favorites in AFC
The Indianapolis Colts' latest quarterback shuffle has elevated them to the favorite to win the AFC South.
The Colts acquired veteran Matt Ryan from the Atlanta Falcons and said goodbye to Carson Wentz, now a member of the Washington Commanders.
Indianapolis checks in at -125 to claim the division crown, according to DraftKings.
Ryan isn't the only added talent coming to Indiana. Cornerback Stephon Gilmore and pass rusher Yannick Ngakoue bolster the defense of a team that went 9-8, missing the postseason a year ago.

The Colts have big-time remaining talent in running back Jonathan Taylor and may have picked up a playmaker in Cincinnati receiver Alec Pierce in the draft. Those players coupled with a fortified defense make this team improved and one that should succeed if it avoids major injuries. Â
In this week's FPBCast, Mike Szvetitz and Gerry Ahern talk AFC and NFC favorites
The Tennessee Titans (+170) are capable of knocking off the Colts. Embattled quarterback Ryan Tannehill will have to get his mind right and avoid the propensity for tossing interceptions he showed last season. Powerhouse running back Derrick Henry remains a game changer on a team that saw several free agents depart. Gone is top receiver A.J. Brown. Enter top draft choice, wideout Treylon Burks from Arkansas. Keeping pass rusher Harold Landry was the top offseason move to steady a stout defense.Â
The Jacksonville Jaguars (+700) check in next. Coming off a three-win season QB Trevor Lawrence will get some help from newly acquired tight end Evan Engram and receivers Christian Kirk and Zay Jones. The defense gets a boost from tackle Foley Fatukasi and linebacker Foye Oluokun. Doug Pederson is the latest to try and guide this woebegone franchise out of the muck.Â
The Houston Texans (+3000) will look quite different. They dealt away quarterback Deshaun Watson to the Cleveland Browns and brought in impressive draft picks LSU cornerback Derek Stingley and Texas A&M guard Kenyon Green. Lovie Smith takes charge of a team with uncertainty at QB with Davis Mills the de facto starter. Rookie receiver John Metchie III out of Alabama, coming off an ACL injury, could infuse an offensive spark.
